SAM Outillage at the Elysée Palace
Since SAM Outillage was founded in 1921, the company has never stopped developing and consolidating its production in France. The "hand-tools for professionals" specialist thus adopted "Innovative French manufacturer" as its slogan, bearing witness to the continuous efforts made by the Saint-Étienne firm to relocate its production to France.
A determination asserted by SAM Outillage's management to take full advantage of French know-how, going from design and R&D through to the marketing of its products.

In the framework of the "Fabriqué en France" show that was held on 3 and 4 July 2021, SAM Outillage was acknowledged and chosen from among more than 2,300 dossiers, with just 126 selected.
This was an initiative promoted by the Minister for Industry, Agnès Panier-Runacher, jointly with the Minister for SMEs, Alain Griset. French companies - pioneers in their areas of activity - were thus able to apply to take part in the exhibition.
The consultative committee, responsible for selecting the projects, was keen to reward businesses that focus on:
- relocating their production to France
- reducing their ecological impact of this change
- enhancing the investments thus made in France, very real vectors of economic revival
